Koh Samui: 3 Hour ATV Secret Waterfall Adventure with Photos

About This Experience
This is the Koh Samui tour to book if the waterfall is the point rather than a bonus. Jungle Quad list the Secret Waterfall swim as an inclusion, not as a seasonal maybe, which separates it from most of the island's ATV catalogue — where waterfall stops are conditional on rain that may not have fallen.
The ride starts at a base camp on the Nathon side, where the jungle is thickest and the mountain trails run deepest. You are geared up with helmet, goggles and mask, briefed, and taken straight onto muddy mountain tracks, steep hillside climbs, coconut groves and fruit farms buried in the canopy, with panoramic stops over the Gulf of Thailand. The guides ride with you the whole way and set the pace to your confidence.
The reward at the halfway point is a swim in a natural jungle pool most visitors to the island never find. Back at base camp there is a cold drink and a cold face towel in a shaded garden viewpoint, and every photo and video the guides shot is sent to your phone by WhatsApp afterwards.

What Travelers Say

Great adventure with our 3 teenagers! 🤩 We were lucky enough to have 2 guides just for us, which made the experience even more enjoyable and personalized. The tour took us to the summit, where we could admire a splendid view of the surroundings, before continuing with a beautiful immersion in the jungle. 🌴 Adrenaline guaranteed! 💪🔥 A truly amazing experience to share with the family. One small drawback: unfortunately, the waterfalls were dry during our visit. 💧 Despite this, we had a great time and will have wonderful memories of this adventure!

It was great, but it was a shame that the waterfalls had no water and therefore swimming in the jungle was not possible (that's actually why we booked the 3-hour tour instead of the 2-hour tour).

Outstanding! Banner was a brilliant guide, fun to be around and genuinely nice guy. The tour was fun, but then it rained really heavy on the way back down and it took it to a whole new level! Absolutely loved it! Banner also used his waterproof phone to get videos of us driving through the puddles and rain. Great day out and won't be forgotten for a long time!

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the waterfall swim guaranteed on this tour?
It is listed as an inclusion rather than a seasonal extra, which is what separates this tour from most of Koh Samui's ATV catalogue. Bring swimwear and a towel — the stop is built into the route, not bolted on if conditions allow.
How long does the whole thing take?
Three hours of riding, and about four hours door to door. Pickup runs roughly an hour before your tour time because the base camp is on the Nathon side of the island, so if you are staying in Chaweng or Lamai the transfer is a real part of the day.
Can children ride?
Ages 12 and up can drive their own ATV if they are confident and capable. Ages 4 and up can ride as passengers. Children under 4 cannot join. Adults and children pay the same price.
What is the weight limit?
140 kg combined per ATV when two of you share. Over that, book two Solo Driver spots — which is also a better ride, because a loaded quad handles the mud badly.
What happens if it rains?
You ride. Mud is part of the tour and the operator supplies raincoats. Only severe weather that affects safety triggers a reschedule at no cost or a full refund.
Do I need a driving licence?
No. The ATVs are automatic and the operator states no licence or experience is needed. A licence is required for buggies on Koh Samui, but not for a quad on private trails.
