Koh Samui: Premium 2-Hour Small-Group Jungle ATV Adventure

About This Experience
Lexi Adventures run the highest-rated two-hour ATV tour on Koh Samui with real review volume behind it — 4.9 from 288 riders. What they sell that the bigger operators do not is group sorting: riders are split by experience and confidence before the trail, so beginners are not chasing a fast group and confident riders are not stuck behind someone who has never touched a throttle.
The ride opens with a full briefing and a practice session in a dedicated training area, which is the single most useful thing an operator can offer a nervous first-timer. From there the route runs through coconut plantations, across river crossings, into muddy jungle trails and up into the hills to a clifftop cafe with a complimentary soft drink and a long view. There is an optional zipline add-on and a short walk to a hidden waterfall.
No previous ATV experience and no driving licence are required. The team shoot action photos and video throughout and hand them over afterwards, which is why this tour turns up so often in people's holiday reels.

What Travelers Say
Rated 4.9/5 by 288 verified GetYourGuide travelers.
A very special experience! We had a great tour – since part of our group needed a little more time than we did (3 quads), the guides decided after 10 minutes to separate the more experienced riders from the others so that everyone could enjoy themselves. We thought that was great! We had a very long, more challenging ride to the zipline, where you can use it at a discounted price or simply enjoy the view and the coffee. We had two 6-year-olds with us, who were of course looked after and who had the time of their lives! We would do this tour again right away! Great guides who take individual situations into account and don't just work through their schedule. Great tour, great views – it was just super fun!

Very nice ATV adventure. Some parts of the track are difficult, like steep descents and ascents and a rutted trail. The paved road track is kept to a minimum, ensuring the most fun in the two-hour ride! Highly recommended!

Amazing, great hosts took many pictures and they let us have lots of free time. Very great experience would book again!

Frequently Asked Questions
Why is this the tour most often recommended to nervous first-timers?
Two things almost no other Koh Samui operator advertises. Riders are sorted into small groups by confidence and experience before the trail, so you are not trying to keep up with someone who rides quads at home. And there is a dedicated practice area with a briefing before you leave, so the first time you use the throttle is not on a hillside.
Do I need a licence or previous experience?
Neither. The machines are automatic — throttle and brake, no gears — and the operator states plainly that no previous ATV experience or driving licence is required.
Is hotel pickup free from my hotel?
Free pickup covers Chaweng, Bophut, Bangrak, Choeng Mon, Maenam and Lamai. If you are staying in Namuang, Hua Thanon, Thongkrut, Taling Ngam, Lipa Noi, Nathon or a mountain villa, you may be asked to meet at the nearest pickup point or pay a transfer supplement. Worth checking before you book.
Can two of us share one ATV?
Yes, with a hard limit: 140 kg for rider and passenger combined. Two adults close to or over that together should book two solo machines instead, which is also the better ride.
Do I get photos?
Yes. The team shoot action photos and video throughout the tour and hand them over free afterwards. It is one reason this tour appears so often in people's holiday videos.
Is there a waterfall on this route?
There is a short walk to a hidden waterfall from the cafe stop, alongside an optional zipline add-on. If swimming under a waterfall is the point of your day rather than a bonus, a dedicated waterfall tour that guarantees the swim is a better fit.
