Samui X Quad Premium ATV Tour (Driver+ Passenger) with lunch

About This Experience
This is the same X Quad tour as the solo listing — same Yamaha 450cc automatic, same four hours out of Maenam, same lunch at The 360 Jungle Route restaurant — booked for two people sharing one machine. The price covers the pair, which is why it works out well below two solo seats.
It is the listing to look at if one of you wants to drive and the other would rather hold on and look at the view, and it is the most common shape of a Koh Samui ATV booking for couples. The driver takes the front, the passenger sits behind, and you swap at the stops if you want to.
There is an upgrade worth knowing about: a brand-new CFMOTO X520 with power steering for about 1,000 THB extra. On a four-hour ride with a passenger aboard, power steering is not a luxury — a loaded quad is heavy work through mud, and this is the one upgrade on the island that changes how tired you are at the end.

Good to Know & Caveats
- X Quad have been operating on Koh Samui since 2012 and run the tours out of the Maenam area, with round-trip hotel transfers included.
- Lunch, water, soft drinks, beer and fruit are all included — this is a half-day out rather than a ride with a snack.
- No alcohol or cannabis before or during the activity. The operator refuses riders who have been drinking.
- A GoPro mount and fixation are available if you want to film your own ride.
- Free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure.
- A vegetarian lunch option is available — mention it when you book rather than on the day.
- The power-steering upgrade is worth considering on a four-hour ride with two aboard; a loaded quad is hard work in mud.
Not Suitable For
- Pregnant women
- Children under 2
Meeting Point
Round-trip hotel pickup and drop-off, with the tour running from the Maenam area of Koh Samui.
What Travelers Say

A great team, a magnificent tour through stunning landscapes with attentive live guides. A must-do to see the island from a different perspective

We were picked up on time, and we were in the tuk-tuk with 2 others. In the end, it turned out that we were the only ones who had booked the 4-hour tour. We upgraded to a more comfortable quad with a backrest (recommended if you are 2 people). Our live guide was very nice! He was clear in his signals and paid close attention. The English of all the staff was good and clear. We had a few days left in Koh Samui, and then it's really recommended! The route was incredibly beautiful, and we passed many viewpoints. We were beginner quad riders, and it was also easy for us to do.

We were lucky enough to go alone with the guide. This allowed us to ask some questions and get some more information. Our tour was very adventurous with great views. Highly recommended if you have already ridden a quad and have some experience. The stops were also varied, and there was no shortage of cold drinks and food. The recommendation: Bring clothes that can get dirty and apply plenty of sunscreen.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this cheaper than booking two solo riders?
Considerably, because the price covers the pair sharing one machine rather than two seats. The trade-off is that only one of you drives at a time. Couples where one partner is happy to ride pillion save a substantial amount here.
Is the power-steering upgrade worth it?
On a four-hour ride with a passenger on the back, yes. A loaded quad is heavy through mud and by hour three your arms know it. The CFMOTO X520 upgrade costs around 1,000 THB and is the one add-on on the island that changes how you feel at the end of the day.
Can we swap driver and passenger?
At the stops, yes — most pairs do. The listing is sold as one driver and one passenger, and the operator expects the pair to sort out between themselves who is in front on each leg.
Is this suitable for a family?
It is the natural shape for a parent and an older child, since the child rides as passenger. Children under 2 cannot join at all. If your child wants to drive their own machine, look at operators with a driver minimum of 12 rather than at X Quad.
Is lunch really included?
Yes, a Thai set lunch at The 360 Jungle Route restaurant, with a vegetarian option, plus soft drinks, water and fruit. It is one of the few Koh Samui ATV tours where the meal is part of the product rather than a stop where you buy your own.
